Continuing Education Course: Deodorization & Biohazard Cleanup
11/16/2016 (Permalink)
Yesterday, SERVPRO of Chesterfield hosted a free Continuing Education Course for local insurance agents and adjusters. Most insurance professionals are required to earn a certain number of credits each year to uphold their licenses and be educated on certain topics that pertain to their daily experiences.
The agents were educated by a SERVPRO Corporate instructor on two topics including deodorization and biohazard cleanup. SERVPRO representatives brought in equipment that is used during the process of deodorization and cleaning up biohazard situations. Air foggers, cleaning and sanitation liquids, PPE (personal protective equipment), face masks, and other supplies were put on display and demonstrated by the instructor.
The instructor went into detail explaining our services that pertain to biohazard cleanup such as: sewage backup, crime scene residue, suicide/death accidents, homicide cleanup, blood cleanup, animal waste/remains, chemical spills, etc.
It was a very informative day for our local insurance professionals filled with educational facts and interesting discussions.
SERVPRO of Chesterfield is always happy to provide these courses to our local agents and educate them on the detailed processes SERVPRO takes to handle any type of disaster, accident, or malodor.
