Mold Behind the Walls
This commercial office building located in Chesterfield was hiding a secret in the walls. Mold was discovered in the walls under the windows in 3 different offices. After a project manager was dispatched to scope the issue, it was discovered that the windows had leaked affecting the drywall behind the wall. After more inspection, the growth had spread all along the walls and behind cabinets. The necessary areas affected were addressed with air scrubbers, hepa vacs and microsmist. It was also important to set up a containment area with a zipper door that acts as a drying chamber to remove moisture and deliver warm air. Water is mold's best friend and can cause extensive damage, especially when it is out of sight.
